Luís Manuel Almeida - Director
Luís Manuel Almeida was born in 1974 in Vale de Cambra, near Aveiro. He spent his teen years there until 1992 when he moved to Porto where he currently resides. Meanwhile, he completed a degree in Financial Management, a post-grad in Financial Markets, worked as a broker, as an asset manager, and in a general management services company. Along the way, he made scriptwriting is hobby, due to his long lasting passion for cinema. This vocation increased to a point where it was more like an occupation than a hobby, so he started taking several filmmaking workshops, reading filmmaking literature and completed the New York Film Academy Digital Filmmaking Diploma. He wrote several screenplays, worked in music videos and short-films and directed his latest work, the short-film Pay Per View.
